Day 3: Maroochydore

Today we went to the zoo! It was sooo cool! As you can see that picture I got to pet a kangaroo (: haha it was great! Met up with the team from New York today. They arrived safe and tired.. haha. But they had a long day, right after they were picked up from the airport they went straight to the zoo! I don’t think I would be able to do that after an 18-hour flight! Haha but they were all troopers and they had fun. I got to meet them all at dinner tonight.. they are really nice I am so glad that they came! They will be a huge help on the tour! We are staying in these cabins for the next two nights so we will see how that works out lol. Tomorrow is our first sound check/practice, and then Wednesday is our first concert!! (: Please pray for us and for people to come to the concerts.. it’s winter here so people won’t be out much but if you all could pray for a good turn out.. that would be great! I miss you all!

God Bless

Day 2: Brisbane

Hey well today wasn't a very eventful day.. we got up this morning.. got on an airplane flew up here to Brisbane (where I am now) and now we are staying the night with Steve's brother in law and his family (Craig and Jodie, and their son Jaylen) in their lovely home. This family.. let me tell you.. they are soooo nice and hospitable and caring.. they offered to let us stay with them, they weren't asked. When we got here we walked in and there was like 10 people already just chillen here. Turns out they let the worship team practice here every sunday.. and they are letting the guy that promotes snowboarders for Christ and his wife stay at there house until he finds another place to settle. I mean they are soo nice! I am so.. convicted I guess when I am around this family because they don't complain about anything, they love the Lord sooooo much, and they are just opening their house.. their personal place for us to stay! It's amazing how God will put people in your life like that! Tomorrow we are off to the Australian Zoo (: I am excited! Haha well I will let you know how the zoo goes tomorrow. The Graces are driving down tonight so if you could pray for their safe travels that would be great!!

Peace out from the land down under.. (:

Day 1: Sydney

G'day!

I'm totally in Sydney right now!! (: It's soo pretty here!!

Well let me tell you about the flight.. I was already a little nervous or scared you can say because of how long the flight was and the fact that we are over water the hole time. Our flight was supposed to leave at 10:37pm. But when we all boarded the pilot said that we were having technical difficulties with one of the motor thingers. so we needed to go back to the gate to have it checked out by a mechanic. 2 HOURS LATER.. we took off. Now that means that we didn't actually leave LAX until a little after midnight! Ya it freaked me out too. On top of that it was overcast and cloudy so there was a bunch of turbulance on the way up!! That really tested me and my trust in God. I had to keep telling myself "God is in control, God is in control". As many times as I kept repeating that to myself.. it worked! I started not being as scared and actually enjoing the flight! Haha honestly I slept through most of it (: it was great! We arived at 7:20 in Sydney this morning. Felt like it was 3 in the after noon.. but ya. haha. We checked into our hotel (that we will be staying at for a total of 1 day) and set off for an adventure. (: Luckily my dads gots big points with Marriot so we got to say at the Marriot right on the harbor! (well they say that but all I could see was the slightly larger building in front of ours..) it was walking distance to everything though so that was pretty cool.
We walked up and down Sydney harbor, ate lunch at this cute little cafe place on the water, went on a cruise thing around the harbor (so much fun) walked some more, ate again, and came back to the good ole' Marriot (: I got GREAT pictures of the opera house and the harbor bridge. If you have one I would definitely put "see sydney opera house" on the things to do before I die list!! It is truley amazingg!! Can't wait to see how everything else unfolds on this trip guys! It's soo awesome here! The team from New York fly in tomorrow.. pray for there safety..

Well I will check back later.. tomorrow we are flying to Brisbane, Australia too meet up with some of the Graces friends to stay the night..

Catch ya later..

Australia (:

Hey guys! Thank you for reading my blog.. I am about to go on a killer missions trip to Australia! I'm at the airport right now waiting for my 14 HOUR flight and stuff. (; I am so stoked to see how God will work through our team these next couple weeks! It's going to be such a great experience that I want to share it with you all! If you read my Mexico posts then you already know what this is about.. if not I'll let you know what I am doing on this blog. Everyday or I should say night.. I will post a blog sharing with you what I did that day.. I encourage you all to check this everyday and see what interesting things I will be doing.. from petting a kangaroo to sleeping in the middle of the outback! Haha!

Here is a basic explanation of what I will be doing over there. The artist Steve Grace is touring (traveling playing concerts) in about 14 different towns in the next two weeks. My Dad and I are part of the band (guitar and vocals), along with Steve's two sons Ryan (drums) and Jordan (guitar), and Alan Espy (base). Paula (my stepmom) and Carrie Grace (Steve's wife) are there to cook and clean and sell cds.. and pretty much all of the behind the scenes stuff. Time Square Church from New York is sending 30 people to come as their mission trip. They are our crew. They will be helping set up the stage, sound, monitors, etc. All the concerts are for 2 hours every night (pray for me!!). During the day the New York team and sometimes me and my dad will be visiting orphanages and hospitals and senior homes sharing the Word of God and preaching the gospel all through out the country!!

As you can see this trip is jam packed with events and such. I ask that you could pray for this trip, that God will be glorified through everything, that everyone stays safe, that people there would repent and put there faith in God. Also if you could pray that the team would bond and grow spiritually.. (:

Given the fact that we are touring in the outback.. I am guessing that they don't have very good internet service out there.. i don't know.. just a thought. But I most likely won't have a post everyday. I will write them everyday.. but post them when I get internet. Make sure you keep checkin in!! Tata for noww
